Position
Substitute Early Childhood Educator (Casual/On-Call)
Location:
Red Deer County, Alberta
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children.
- Support classroom routines and daily activities.
- Assist permanent educators as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized learning environment.
- Follow Alberta licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and daycare policies.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
Qualifications
- Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification (Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 preferred).
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
- Dependable, flexible, and able to work on short notice.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
