Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role requires proficiency in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge to ensure precise production of high-quality acoustic products. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards. Experience with CAD software required. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate 3 axis CNC machinery
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models for accurate machining
- Producing shop drawings for projects & new products
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct quality control checks using calipers, hand tools, and measurement techniques to verify dimensions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
- Assist in packaging finished products for shipment according to specifications
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and process improvements
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC milling machines & CNC lathes
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with CAD software 2D/3D
- Warehouse experience is a plus for material handling tasks
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during setup and quality checks
- Knowledge of manufacturing standards, quality control procedures, and safety protocols
