We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation. This role involves preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring all food safety standards are met. The Line Cook will work closely with kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations and uphold the restaurant’s quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to guests
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Food safety protocols and proper food handling practices
- Strong understanding of the food industry standards for cleanliness and sanitation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Prior experience in food industry roles such as line cook or prep cook is a must
