Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House (FOH) Team Members to join our dynamic restaurant team. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience through excellent service and hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for the food industry. Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; we value team players eager to learn and grow within our organization.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Take and process orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with precision and integrity
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and sanitation to ensure food safety standards are met
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining space and service stations
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with food service and guest needs
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and responsibilities efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling, and sanitation practices
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Experience in hospitality, serving, or the food industry is advantageous but not essential; eagerness to learn is key
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
