Apprentice Electrician
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in working on commercial and residential projects, using power tools, reading schematics and blueprints, and handling low voltage systems. As an apprentice Electrician, you will play a crucial role in various projects, from commercial settings, residential settings and renovation projects.
Duties:
- Utilize power tools and equipment to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems
- Efficient at bending EMT conduit
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical wiring
- Work on low (30V or less) and regular voltage (120/208/240V and 347/600V) systems to ensure proper installation and functionality
- Collaborate with other team members, including maintenance person professionals, to complete projects efficiently
- Renovate existing electrical systems to meet safety standards and improve efficiency
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an apprentice Electrician or similar role
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment effectively
- Strong understanding of electrical systems,
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately
- Certification as an indentured apprentice Electrician
