Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Carpenter Helper / Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will assist carpenters on residential projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Assist carpenters with construction, installation, and general site work
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and cleaning
- Assist with interior and exterior painting tasks
- Load, unload, and move materials and tools on site
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow instructions from site supervisors or lead carpenters
- Perform basic hand tool and power tool tasks as required
Requirements:
- Previous construction, carpentry, or painting experience is an asset
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and standing for long periods
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and safety practices is an asset
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Wage will be dependent on candidate's experience.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
