Sharp Bus Lines Belleville is seeking a part-time Shop Helper to assist our mechanical team in the shop, during high volume hours.
The ideal candidate is:
- Mechanically inclined; generally handy with tools
- Proactive and coachable
- Hardworking and has a great attitude.
Main responsibilities:
- Light body work as supervised by Foreman and mechanical staff
- Small repairs and jobs as assigned
- Repairs to school bus seats
- Cleaning and tidying shop and working areas
- General facility maintenance as assigned
Qualified applicants must have:
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (oral and written)
- A “can do” attitude and a willingness to learn and be coached
- Ability to lift 75lbs; physical effort and dexterity is essential for this role
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
