Job Description
Lessonry is looking for an experienced vocal teacher to join our growing roster of music teachers.
Lessonry brings together experienced music teachers with the structure and support of a music school. We look after booking, scheduling, payments, and lesson administration so teachers can focus on their students and their teaching.
All Lessonry lessons are taught one-on-one online. We’re looking for teachers who are comfortable teaching remotely and can create a welcoming, engaging lesson experience for students of different ages and experience levels.
This is a good fit for experienced private music teachers looking to take on additional students alongside their existing teaching.
Responsibilities
- Teach engaging, one-on-one online vocal lessons
- Adapt lessons to each student’s goals, interests, and experience level
- Create a welcoming, supportive, and professional learning environment
- Maintain lesson attendance and notes using our lesson management system
- Communicate reliably with students, families, and Lessonry when needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience teaching private vocal lessons
- College or university education in music, conservatory training, or equivalent professional music experience
- Strong musical background and a high level of vocal proficiency
- Ability to adapt your teaching to each student’s goals, interests, age, and experience level
- Familiarity with vocal repertoire, exercises, and other learning materials appropriate for different ages and experience levels
- Professional online teaching setup, including reliable high-speed internet, quality audio and video, and appropriate camera positioning
