Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Assistant Manager to support and supervise daily warehouse operations across our QC warehouse locations. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient inventory control, accurate documentation, team leadership, and continuous operational improvement while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
2. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.
3. Conduct cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory audits.
4. Ensure accurate documentation of inbound and outbound shipments using WMS or ERP systems.
5. Review inventory discrepancies and implement corrective and preventive actions.
6. Lead, train, and supervise warehouse associates, forklift operators, and material handlers.
7. Coordinate with carriers, dispatch, and transportation teams to schedule pickups and deliveries.
8. Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity.
9. Implement Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
10. Ensure quality and accuracy standards for packaging, labeling, and order fulfillment.
11. Support and enforce warehouse safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
1. 2–4 years of warehouse or logistics experience, with supervisory or lead experience preferred.
2. Solid understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.
3. Hands-on experience with WMS / ERP systems.
4. Knowledge of Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement practices is an asset.
5. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
7. Forklift experience or certification preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
