Duties
Detachment Services Assistants provide administrative and operational support to police members and others at the detachment. They also provide assistance and information to the public.
Intent of the process
The initial intent is to staff the position on a temporary basis (until June 30, 2027). The process may also be used for future temporary or indeterminate staffing.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.
