Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, with precision and flair
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Assist in food service when needed, including serving light snacks or small plates to enhance the guest experience
- Monitor guest behavior responsibly, ensuring safety and adherence to alcohol service regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods, demonstrating excellent time management skills
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred; familiarity with food service operations will be advantageous
- Experience working with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a lively environment
- Experience in hospitality or serving roles that require multitasking and quick thinking
