Ongoing intake for the YWCA NextStep Youth Program – Province-Wide!
Are you (or someone you know) between 16–30 years old, unemployed or underemployed, and ready to take the next step toward your goals? The YWCA NextStep Youth Program is a free, 12-week program designed to help youth set career and life goals, gain hands-on experience through workshops and a community project, as well as access individualized support.
Program Highlights:
· Financial incentives for participation and completion
· Additional financial support based on individual need
· Food supports as needed
· One-to-one career and life planning assistance
· Group workshops 3 days per week
· Continuous Intake - New groups every 12 weeks
Eligibility:
· Ages 16–30
· Unemployed or underemployed
· Legally eligible to work in Canada
· Facing barriers to employment or education
· Able to attend six weeks of group workshops (3 days/week)
