As a Developer Support Engineer, you will be a member of the Product Support Services Team, responsible for assisting Sitecore’s implementation partners with best practices guidance, service requests, troubleshooting complex customizations, reverse engineering, and significantly contribute towards ramping up and developing the team in the first year.

Sitecore implementations are handled by their network of partners. Because of the complex nature of Sitecore’s products, their partners often need assistance in mapping customer requirements to implementation best practices. The Software Engineer will work with partners to understand customer requirements and determine the proper implementation approach. In addition, the Software Engineer may troubleshoot implementations that are experiencing complex performance or functional issues.

Key responsibilities:
Reproduce Level 2 support issues on reference environments.

Analyze support issues and translate them into understandable product defects.
Debug product front-end and backend code
Report product defects and improvements to the Product Build team
Investigate and solve operational issues. Communication of service requests.
Analysis of technical questions and answer them in a professional manner
Help optimizing the training process by identifying gaps in the eLearning material, knowledge base and documentation portal
Participate in writing and improving the internal and external knowledge base by writing articles
Sitecore will provide all necessary training on the Sitecore system.

Qualifications

The Ideal candidates will have the following background:
Experience working with Microsoft technologies, including:
NET MVC
C#
Visual Studio
IIS
Experience in frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Outstanding problem solving and logical thinking skills
Understanding of object oriented programming concepts and client-server software architecture
Experience working with data structures and creating software algorithms
Experience troubleshooting software development projects
Great communication skills in English

Experience in the following would be a plus:
Source control systems such as GIT

Microsoft Azure cloud technologies (Azure functions or logic apps)
Redis and Elastic search
Travelling Requirements

Travel required for initial training & onboarding
