Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel. The successful candidate will oversee daily housekeeping operations, manage staff performance, maintain inventory and budgets, and work closely with other departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Open availability including weekends and holidays required.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff.
- Schedule and assign daily cleaning duties to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies, and place orders as needed.
- Coordinate with Front Desk and Maintenance teams regarding room status, guest requests, and repair needs.
- Address and resolve guest concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and quality-control measures.
- Manage departmental budgets, labor costs, and productivity targets.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping management or supervisory experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety regulations, and housekeeping best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems is an asset.
