Desired Skills / Experience:
- Background in fabrication and craftwork - particularly with metal and/or leather would be an asset
- Able to work in a high-paced production environment
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Enthusiastic, adaptable and able to work independently
- Good communication, both written and verbal
- Experience with packaging and shipping products would be an asset
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate cabinet handles using a combination of wood, leather, brass and steel. Training will be provided, but experience with shop tools and standard fabrication techniques are necessary.
- Maintain production targets and work efficiently
- Keep an organized environment and track product inventory and material stock
- Package and ship orders
- Contribute to the overall success of the team by engaging in a range of tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in fabrication, craftwork, woodwork or related fields
- Able to safely and confidently operate basic woodshop tools (table saw, drill press, routers, sanders)
- Ability to learn and adapt to various materials and fabrication techniques
- Able to stand and do physical work for long periods of time
- Adept at working independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to embrace challenges and seize opportunities for skill enhancement
