Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating our Hydrovac's safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. The Driver will also be expected to perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections. The driver will also be expected to work with our drill team during down time. Hydro Vac jobs are both in and out of town, so availability to travel out of town for short term jobs would be required.
Duties
- Safely operate vehicles.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers about schedules and any issues that arise during shift.
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies while on the road.
- Perform basic automotive repairs as necessary to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Proficiency in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
- Experience in freight transportation and logistics.
- Knowledge of automotive repair techniques is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively.
