The Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese (the CISVA) operates 46 schools – 40 elementary and 6 high schools. Our schools are located throughout the Greater Vancouver Area, near the best sites and attractions that Vancouver and British Columbia has to offer. Our footprint extends over 250 kilometers from Powell River in the west to Chilliwack in the east.

JOB DESCRIPTION
St. Bernadette's Elementary in Surrey is seeking a vibrant, enthusiastic, and faith-filled educator to join our warm and welcoming school community for a Full Time Intermediate Teaching Position beginning September 1, 2026.
At St. Bernadette, we pride ourselves on our supportive staff, strong faith community, and dedication to nurturing the spiritual, academic, social, and emotional growth of every child.
We are seeking a passionate and faith-filled educator to join our team for a 0.6 FTE French Teacher position.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education, a collaborative spirit, and a desire to support diverse learners while fostering a love of language and culture.

Deliver engaging and effective Core French instruction (K – 7)

Utilize or demonstrate willingness to learn the AIM (Accelerative Integrated Methodology) program

Foster a positive, immersive language-learning environment

Support students in developing confidence in oral and written French communication
Qualifications & Skills

Valid British Columbia teaching certification
