Position Summary The Chief Investment Officer oversees the organization's investment portfolio, capital allocation, and financial planning strategies. This role focuses on evaluating investment opportunities and managing risk to achieve financial goals. This hybrid position allows you to work from home while maintaining periodic on-site presence in Calgary.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term investment strategies and capital allocation plans.
- Monitor portfolio performance and adjust strategies based on market conditions.
- Evaluate prospective investment opportunities and conduct financial risk assessments.
- Prepare investment reports and strategic proposals for executive leadership.
- Review asset performance and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Coordinate with financial institutions, advisers, and internal management teams.
Requirements
- Professional background in investment management, corporate finance, or financial strategy.
- Strong knowledge of asset management, financial analysis, and risk mitigation.
- Proven ability to manage investment portfolios and capital deployment.
- Experience in executive decision-making and financial reporting.
- Post-secondary degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
Pay: $254,000.00-$255,000.00 per year
