Renovation Sales Representative
KCB Design Build has a 42 year old track record of excellence and is a well respected and well-known company in Red Deer. We are opening a location in Calgary and will be applying our proven processes and procedures that has resulted in being awarded both Renovator of the Year and Business of the Year. We are looking for highly driven, highly ethical people to join our team and establish KCB Design Build in Calgary. We are an award-winning design/build renovation and custom cabinet firm. We are presently looking for an individual with renovation construction and sales experience. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, have impeccable listening and socializing skills, and must have a background in residential construction.
Job Purpose: The Renovation Sales Representative will be responsible for establishing KCB in the Calgary market. This role is not for the faint at heart and will require a strong work ethic, ability to be organized, impeccable communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. As the only KCB representative in Calgary to start, you will be responsible for selling design/build renovations. While you will be the only KCB representative in Calgary in the first phase of expansion, you will be supported with a full team of designers, estimators, coordinators, KCB provided leads, and help in fulfilling the client’s renovation desires. KCB is looking for a Renovation Sales Representative with the long term goals of growing professionally and financially as the company grows. This is not a short term commitment, please do not submit a resume if you are not of the mindset to build a long term sustainable business. Start ups can be challenging and we recognize it is not for everyone. The upside is limitless, but building the foundation is step one.
As a Renovation Sales Representative you will work closely with KCB’s CEO in the establishment of the Calgary market. KCB headquarters will also fulfill all marketing, payroll, estimating, admin and coordination functions to clear the path for you to focus on acquiring new customers and relationships.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Maximize sales opportunities by scheduling appointments, site visits, and presentations
· Prospect, and build relationships for new clients and leads
· Act as clients trusted advisor through entire construction process
· Manage client from initial project concept to the point where the project is passed on to the Project Manager
· Provide excellent services to clients and apply effective troubleshooting techniques under pressure
· Manage pipeline of qualified prospects using company CRM
· Meet weekly activity targets and monthly sales targets
· Support client portfolio through phone conversations, and in person meetings.
· Be a contributing member of the team in revenue, culture and brand image
· Become an ambassador of KCB Design Build principles on an ongoing and never-ending basis.
· Respond promptly to any customer inquiry within required time frame outline by KCB
Requirements:
· Ability to understand completely how a home is constructed, and what is required to renovate. Be able to determine load bearing walls, and predict problems company may be faced with during construction
· Ability to read, and interpret blueprints
· Must be able to use computers efficiently, and estimate construction projects digitally
· Excellent client management and a positive attitude
· Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and communicate effectively with team, management, trades, and clients
· Must posses a strong work ethic, punctuality and the ability to work in an intense, exciting, fast paced environment.
· Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and effectively communicate construction solutions to prospects

Experience Requirements:
· Journeyman Carpenter
· 5 years minimum construction experience
· 1-year AutoCAD experience
· 2 years minimum sales experience, or business owner experience
