Minor Bros Animal Health and Nutrition is looking for a Warehouse Lead for our Distribution Warehouse*. *You are independent, detail-oriented, process-focused, and love to spend your day performing highly physical tasking. You will learn to be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the warehouse and all product that flows through it. You Are:
-Physically fit – not only capable of lifting and moving 55lbs+ all day long, but you enjoy it!
-Attentive to detail – able to work at a high level of accuracy in execution despite frequent interruptions
-A problem solver – available on demand, thinking critically and creatively and using logic to quickly find the best solution in unusual or unexpected situations
-Willing to learn something new every day –whether that be new product or processes knowledge or remembering your customers’ names and needs
-Organized – with excellent planning and time management skills
-A communicator – able to coordinate with logistics, procurement, stores, and customers to ensure smooth movement of product
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Plan, execute and oversee staff for all warehouse activities – accomplishing customer deliveries, receiving, and outward bound shipping while simultaneously ensuring cleanliness, organization and rotation standards are upheld
-Actively work with product - able to lift and carry 55lbs without restriction
-Organize shipping and receiving logs through the system, taking responsibility for appropriate documentation and movement of all inventory coming through the warehouse
-Monitor key metrics, developing strategy and action plans as required to meet goals
-Improve efficiency of systems and density utilization
-Responsible for care of all equipment, including standard operating checks and preventative maintenance
-Maintain accuracy of inventory – both in order picking and of all product held in the warehouse through order audits as well as execution of cycle counts, expiry audits, and all other MB routines and processes
-Ensure established policies and procedures are followed to minimize safety concerns, participating in site-wide Health and Safety requirements
-Lead WMS implementation and development activities
-Functions as a member of the HAACP team
-Additional tasking as assigned
-Able to listen actively and communicate in a straightforward manner with customers and teammates
Skills and Experiences Required
-familiarity with warehouse methods, practices, and inventory software
-ability to lift and stack heavy objects up to 55lbs in addition to other physical demands of the job
-current forklift licence and experience with lifting equipment
-Health & Safety training and experience
-proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
-strong understanding of 5S
-experience working with HACCP
-3 years warehouse management experience
-experience with Odoo an asset

Experience:
