Position Summary
The IT Policy and Procedure Documentation Specialist will focus primarily on the review, enhancement, and documentation of company policies, procedures, workflows and guides in the compliance and risk areas of the company with an emphasis on internal IT operations and security controls.

Responsibilities
Partner with process owners and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure that policies, procedures, and process flows accurately reflect required information and that related documents are in alignment.
Evaluate business processes and translate into accurate, consistent, and concise documentation that follows a logical flow.
As assigned, create new procedural documents from multiple resources, including but not limited to, regulatory guidance, documentation provided by operations, security, and account management teams, SME interviews, process mapping, end user systems, new business operating models, and other types of material.
Once changes to policies and procedures are approved, work with responsible person to ensure updates are posted to the document library and that updates are communicated to company employees.
Complete regulatory compliance and other training as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in English, Business, or another applicable field.
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (SOC, HiTrust, HIPAA, etc.)
Strong understanding of IT control frameworks (ITGC, COBIT, NIST, ITIL, ISO)
Excellent writing and communication skills, including ability to listen and observe.
Detail and process-oriented.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel). Knowledge of Visio is a plus.
Must be self-directed and able to work both independently and as part of a team to meet goals and objectives.
Position will initially work remotely and may transition into an office environment depending on company work-from-home policies.
Experience in IT services industry a plus but not required.
