Client A: We are looking to hire part-time Behavioural Interventionists to work with a 5 year old girl diagnosed with autism at after school care program starting September.
You will be working under the supervision of a Behaviour Consultant to implement a play-based intervention program based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis. Intervention sessions will focus on communication skills, play skills, social skills, and self-care skills.
Hours/Location
Afterschool care (By Royal Square Mall in New Westminster). 2-3 sessions on Monday to Friday, around 3:30-5:30
Qualifications:
- Strong play skills
- Experience with using TouchChat.
- Background in related field is an asset (e.g. psychology, education, education assistant)
- Experience working with children and/or children with autism
- Minimum 19 years of age
- Clear criminal record check completed within last 12 months
- Minimum 1 year commitment
Client B: We are looking to hire a part-time behaviour interventionist to work with a 3 year old boy diagnosed with autism at their home / community starting ASAP.
You will be working under the supervision of a Behaviour Consultant to implement a play-based intervention program based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis. Intervention sessions will focus on communication skills, play skills, and social skills.
Hours and Location: Client's home in New Westminster near Royal Square Mall, New Westminster family place 9:30-11:30 any two-three workdays.
Qualifications:
- Strong play skills
- Speaking Tigrinya would be an asset
- Background in related field is an asset (e.g. psychology, education, education assistant)
- Experience working with children and/or children with autism
- Minimum 19 years of age
- Clear criminal record check completed within last 12 months
- Minimum 1 year commitment
