Assistant General Manager - Junior A Hockey - Player Recruitment & Scouting
The Toronto Flyers Junior A Hockey Club are seeking a motivated and hockey connected Assistant General Manager to join our hockey operations team for the 2026/2027 season.
This position is focused on player talent acquisition, scouting, recruiting, and roster development. The successful candidate will work directly alongside the General Manager and Ownership Group to identify, evaluate, recruit, and build a competitive roster for the upcoming season.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and recruit prospective players for the Toronto Flyers Hockey Club
- Scout players through live viewings, video analysis, showcases, tournaments, and referrals
- Build relationships with players, families, coaches, advisors, and hockey organizations
- Conduct player interviews and assist with recruitment meetings
- Assist with roster construction and player evaluations
- Attend prospect camps, tryouts, and recruiting events
- Promote the Toronto Flyers program to prospective players and families
- Maintain scouting reports and player databases
- Assist the General Manager with hockey operations and player personnel decisions
- Represent the Toronto Flyers organization in a professional manner
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of junior hockey and player development
- Existing hockey network is considered a major asset
- Previous experience in scouting, coaching, recruiting, player advising, or hockey operations preferred
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Passion for identifying and developing hockey talent

Compensation:
This is a commission-based position. Compensation is earned through successful player recruitment and hockey operations activities, with significant earning potential for motivated individuals.
