Job Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring the safety of ADM facilities with respect to employee health, safety, and compliance. Key working relationships include the Plant Manager, Plant Superintendent, Quality and Food Safety Manager, Production Supervisors, and all plant personnel. This role operates under strict deadlines due to reporting requirements from both internal and external stakeholders. Strong attention to detail is required while managing multiple priorities that must be completed within 24 hours.
This position reports directly to the Plant Manager and functionally to the Regional HSE Director. The incumbent is responsible for the following duties, as well as any other related tasks required to promote our HSE culture and achieve the “Zero is Possible” goal:

Ensure compliance with HSE laws, standards, and company policies.

Identify and correct workplace hazards and risks.

Participate in incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions.

Deliver training and support HSE programs.

Oversee audits and drive continuous improvement plans.

Education and Experience-
Post-secondary education combined with 3–5 years of HSE experience, preferably in an international organization; equivalent manufacturing experience will also be considered.

Certification in First Aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and AED (Automated External Defibrillator).

Solid knowledge of Quebec HSE legislation, including LSST (Prevention), LATMP (Compensation and claims management), and RSST and related regulations

Knowledge of CNESST regulatory framework.

HSE professional certification (CCPSA or equivalent) is required or in progress.
Additional Information-
May require coordination with colleagues in different time zones for certain projects.

Availability outside regular working hours may be required for operational needs and emergencies.

Legal authorization to work in Canada is required and must be maintained.
