Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Furniture Installer to join our team. This role involves assembling, installing, and configuring office furniture at client locations, ensuring that all installations meet quality standards and client specifications. Responsibilities
- Unload and transport office furniture and equipment to designated areas within client sites
- Assemble furniture components accurately according to manufacturer instructions and project specifications
- Install furniture securely, ensuring stability and safety compliance
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to confirm installation requirements and address any issues promptly
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and report any damages or malfunctions
- Follow safety protocols at all times during installation processes
- Complete installation documentation and report progress or delays as required
Skills
- Proven experience in furniture assembly or related installation work is preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical diagrams and instructions
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot assembly or installation issues
- Ability to lift heavy furniture items safely and perform physically demanding tasks
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Valid driver’s license is a plus for transporting materials between sites
- Ability to work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to manual handling and workplace safety standards
Pay: $17.20-$26.00 per hour
