Machine Operators for a long-term opportunity with one of our valued clients.
Location: Near Dufferin Street & Steeles Avenue
Shifts Available: Day and Afternoon
We are seeking reliable, motivated individuals
with at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable company that offers long-term employment and growth potential.
Shift Times:
Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 4:30 pm, Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday 4:30 pm - 2 am, Friday 3:30 pm - 12:00 am
Pay rate:
Day shift - $18.50 /hr.
Afternoon shift - $19.00 /hr.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Machine Operator
Main Duties/Tasks
- Operate and safely load parts into machinery
- Assembly and rework of parts using drills, grinders, buffers, etc.
- Prepare parts for welding
- Material handling, stacking metal parts, and packaging
- Performs required quality checks to ensure product is in compliance and in specifications
- Notifies Group Leader and/or Supervisor(s) of product defects or other serious occurrence
- Document and record all necessary information/data as per work cards and other company requirements
- Performs equipment operational checks with Supervisor assistance
- Performs proper housekeeping, clean-up and 5S requirements
- Performs all duties according to safety standards and company policies
- Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time (such as cleaning and sweeping of workstations)
