RHEA continues to grow, and we are looking to bring on a Physical Security Analyst to join our consulting team here in Ottawa.
Physical Security Analysts support the development of physical security designs, policies, and operational strategies for our clients. The Physical Security Analyst should have good working knowledge of applicable applications (ex. AutoCAD and/or comparable applications) and the ability to read schematics and blueprints.
Tasks and Activities
The scope of work will include:
- Supporting projects in physical security environments.
- Supporting the development of Threat and Risk Assessments.
- Helping to develop security requirements and/or drafting security designs or security plans.
- Providing advice and guidance on concept designs or preliminary designs.
- Reviewing architectural, electrical, and structural designs and construction documents for compliance and provide feedback to project teams.
- Providing support in the preparation of procurement documentation, procurement plans, researching available technologies, providing detailed option analysis and tracking procurement activities.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience
The following education and credentials are mandatory:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
The following skills and experience are mandatory:
- Must qualify for a Government of Canada security clearance
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience (with post-secondary education) to five years of experience (without post-secondary education)
The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:
- Bilingual in English and French
- Any additional experience
Working Conditions
- Employment Status: This is a full-time, permanent role
- Location: This is onsite, working out of our office in Ottawa and with on-site expectations within client environments.
- Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 annually as a baseline, plus benefits & 3 weeks’ vacation.
