Business Technology Analyst

The Business Technology Analyst will identify, implement, and maintain technology solutions for operational needs to simplify, automate and institutionalize processes at Price Mechanical. This position is responsible for evaluating existing and potential technology needs and implementing company-wide technology initiatives in congruence with Corporate IT strategy.

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:
Acting as a liaison between internal departments, support groups and customers to baseline and then develop interconnecting business processes to formalize the flow of information within the company.
Using strong communication skills to elicit, document, analyze, and validate business processes, systems, and requirements.
Demonstrating and sharing industry best practices, tools and experience with the business in daily activities.
Formulating and defining scope and objectives of prioritized projects using knowledge of information technology and industry requirements.
Supporting and conducting visualization, user experience trials, and configuration validation of solutions, tools, and processes prior to implementation.
Developing structured, detailed user manuals and training programs for new business processes, tools, or software. Supporting and managing change management process implementations.
Considering new application of technology to the current business environment.
Conduct feasibility/benefit assessments for the use of new technology and tools in the business.
Supporting continuous improvement by participating in conceptualizing and developing robust system tools to strength communication, information and material flow.
Providing time and resource estimates for assigned tasks. Assisting departments with analyzing system data to track performance using KPIs.
Acting as Price Mechanical liaison on the Corporate ERP assessment and implementation team.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:
A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Analysis (preferred) with a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience.
The ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with a cross-functional and mixed-skillset team.
Effective verbal and written communication at all levels of the organization.
Experience in a custom, engineer-to-order manufacturing environment.
Experience working intimately with ERP systems (Infor products considered a strong asset).
Familiarity and experience with Business Process Modeling techniques.
Highly effective at initiating and developing positive cross functional relationships.
The ability to be process-oriented with strong, accurate analytical skills.
A demonstrated sense of urgency and proactive approach that is results focused.
Working technical knowledge of programming languages and relational databases, including SharePoint and SQL.
