- Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring immediate support for patients experiencing acute mental health episodes.
- Engage in research activities related to pediatrics and special education to stay current with best practices and innovative treatment approaches.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to foster ongoing support.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical or educational setting.
- Previous hospital experience is highly valued, demonstrating familiarity with medical environments and patient care protocols.
- Strong background in research related to pediatrics or mental health interventions.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to mental health and pediatric care.
- Experience managing cases within multidisciplinary teams, including case management responsibilities.
- Skilled in data collection techniques to monitor patient progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Familiarity with special education frameworks and strategies for supporting students with mental health needs.
