The Master Data Business Analyst is accountable for the accuracy of BD master data which is critical to the effectiveness of our downstream processes that affect the customer experience and commercial enablement such as order fulfillment, web ordering, e-catalogue and reporting. This role is responsible for the maintenance of Customer and Material Master Data for BD - Canada including; master data collection, ERP maintenance, as well as governance surrounding data accuracy and integrity. In addition, to enhance the customer experience, this role will be responsible for the registration of accounts in Hybris to automate shipping/delivery/ invoice notifications to customers.

The Master Data Business Analyst acts as the subject matter expert in both product and customer data providing support to cross functional and business resources across the organization. Development of continuous process improvements and promoting the use of best practices, both within Canada and across BDX, is a key responsibility of this role.

Facilitate data collection and entry of sales organization and plant level master data using SharePoint and/or other Work Flow solutions to manage new material/customer activations and change or deactivation requests across multiple stakeholders.
Coordinate completion of workflow requests across stakeholders through open request monitoring and open status reports in order to drive timely request closure per SLAs.
Promote data governance by ensuring quality and accuracy of customer/material master data through execution of the annual governance plan where scheduled checks and balances are performed.
Manage and maintain end to end processes and customer master maintenance through timely completion of requests in up and downstream systems. These systems support strategic initiatives such as web ordering and reporting (e.g. SAP, CRM, RelTio, Roll-up Source of Truth, Customer Web Portal).
Maintain all material master systems that support the Customer Experience including but not limited to SAP, Hybris web ordering portal and e-catalogue.
Identify and drive continuous improvement and process integration in master data across multiple ERP systems for all legacy business units.
Maintain active relationships with local marketing, cross functional stakeholders as well as worldwide Master Data Owners to share and leverage best practices.
Create and maintain master data policies and procedures.
Support local marketing and product management and cross functional stakeholders as the subject matter expert through training and maintenance of master data support resources.
Responsible for approving user access (CUP) requests relating to master data processes in SAP. Provide training and support to end users.
Provide support to Sales Operations in managing administrative activities (as required).
Support Billbacks Team in monthly reporting of all customer central warehouses tracing data. Work with Business Analysts and IT in implementing new reporting tool to cleanse and report data.
Participate in cross functional projects and initiatives as required.

Education & Experience

College Diploma required. University Degree or Related Post-Secondary Education preferred.
1 year experience in a similar role, will consider recent graduates with a college diploma.
