Qualifications:
- BC Certification

Bachelor of Education (Secondary) or equivalent

Undergraduate degree with a major or minor in the above subjects

Demonstrated current knowledge of the renewed curriculum for the above subjects, the learning outcomes and appropriate resources
-
Previous successful experience teaching the above subjects
-
Experience with a variety of learning management systems
-
Demonstrated ability to use a variety of teaching and assessment strategies

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

Excellent communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills

The annual salary for this position ranges from $60,337 to $111,450, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
