HPGR Service Engineer

5 day work weeks with possible OT.
Purpose of Role: The Service Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the general health of the HPGR machines in Canada. The candidate will be required to inspect, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and Programing issues(ATWM/PLC).

Key Responsibilities:

HPGR Maintenance: Support and service clients HPGR equipment, including grease and oil lube systems. Inspect wear components (wear plates, hoppers, slide plates), tyres and rotating equipment.

Technical Support: Provide technical support, trouble shooting (faults) PLC/ATWM and electrical problems

Root Cause Analysis: Identify likely cause and solution to remedy problems and report up findings while also conducting field maintenance and operation training to end users. Complete RCA and 5Y reports.

Service Planning: Support Canadian service manager and FS Coordinator with onsite HPGR shutdown. Work to ensure equipment is performing at an optimum level, including auditing client maintenance plans, monthly wellness checks and recommend improvements where applicable to increase equipment reliability and decrease unplanned downtime.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree – Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (EIT)

2-3 years of relevant technical experience in mining field with crushers

Must have PLC experience and ATWM training is an asset.

Passport required as international training may be required

Will consider Millwrights with a Red Seal & electrical, mining, or crushing experience
