Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Welder to join our dynamic balancing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding components using various welding techniques and tools to dynamically balance rotors, fan wheels and impellers.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various steels
- Operate cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment safely for material handling and positioning
- Measure materials accurately using calipers, tape measures, and other measuring devices
- Ensure all welds meet quality standards by inspecting welds visually
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper equipment handling procedures
- Assist with the setup of manufacturing equipment and perform routine maintenance as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding (MIG, TIG) within a manufacturing or construction environment
- Familiarity with rigging, crane operation, forklift operation, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of welding safety standards and procedures
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
