Position Summary
Excel Career College is seeking an experienced and highly organized Campus Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Surrey campus. Reporting to senior leadership, the Campus Director is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of academic programs, student services, administrative functions, and campus operations. The role provides leadership to campus staff, promotes operational excellence, ensures regulatory compliance, and develops systems and processes that enhance efficiency and the overall student experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations of the Surrey campus.
- Ensure the efficient delivery of academic, administrative, and student support services.
- Supervise administrative and operational staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve campus policies, procedures, and operational workflows.
- Monitor campus facilities, maintenance, health and safety, and security to maintain a safe and welcoming learning environment.
- Manage operational budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure effective use of campus resources.
- Collaborate with academic leadership and department managers to support program delivery and student success.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
- Lead campus operational planning and support strategic initiatives that align with institutional goals.
- Coordinate campus events, meetings, and special projects while ensuring effective logistical planning.
- Address and resolve operational issues, student concerns, and staff inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor key operational performance indicators and recommend improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and exceptional student service throughout the campus.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Education, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of two years of progressive leadership experience in operations, administration, or campus management, preferably within a post-secondary or educational environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing campus operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing operational budgets, facilities, and resource planning.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, occupational health and safety requirements, and post-secondary operational standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and student information systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
