About Us
At Rocvent, we are a fast-paced production shop specializing in [insert what you make, e.g., heavy-duty textiles, tarps, inflatables, etc.]. Our floor relies on a unique mix of specialized equipment to keep production moving, and we are looking for a skilled, versatile Maintenance Technician to keep our machines running at peak performance.
Position Overview
As our Maintenance Technician, you will be the backbone of our production floor. You will handle everything from routine preventative maintenance to emergency troubleshooting and repairs on specialized equipment, including high-frequency (HF) welders, hot-air welders, industrial sewing machines, and our air powered machinery.

Key Responsibilities
- Specialized Equipment Repair: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain RF/HF (Radio Frequency/High Frequency) welders, hot-air rotary welders, and industrial sewing machines.
- Facilities & Pneumatics: Maintain and service the shop’s central air compressor system, pneumatic lines, and general facility infrastructure.
- Preventative Maintenance (PM): Execute daily, weekly, and monthly PM schedules to minimize machine downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Diagnostics: Read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints to diagnose issues quickly.
- Safety First: Ensure all machinery meets safety standards and operates within OSHA/local guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a production shop environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of pneumatics, electrical systems (low voltage and high voltage), and mechanical components.
- The Nice-to-Haves (Big Plusses):
- Direct experience with HF/RF welders or hot-air/wedge welders
- Experience timing and repairing industrial sewing machines.
- Problem Solver: Ability to think on your feet and solve mechanical puzzles under production deadlines.
- Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Climb ladders, and spend the day on your feet.
