Job Summary
The Marketing Assistant will provide administrative and operational support, working closely with the Director of Marketing and Marketing team through handling communications, maintaining records, organizing meetings, handling mail, generating reports and supporting daily department operations.
Successful candidate is dedicated, hard-working, and has strong attention to detail. You should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You are energetic, positive and enthusiastic professional who works well in a fast-paced team environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Basic understanding of market trends and consumer behavior.
- Ready to learn and evolve in a fast-changing environment.
- Organize meetings, prepare agendas or supporting materials, and assist with follow-up items.
- Handle correspondence and support day-to-day communication needs within the department.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents to support marketing and communications initiatives.
- Video production and video editing (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.) is a bonus.
- Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) is a bonus.
- French language is a bonus.
Working Conditions
- Work in the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Markdale, Ontario.
- Travel within Canada might be required, but not often.

Compensation
At Chapman’s, compensation is guided by a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes and rewards individual contributions.
Salary / Wages
$50,000 to $54,000 salary range
In addition to wages, employees will be eligible for:
