Job Summary
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Food Prep Team Member to join our dynamic kitchen crew. In this role, you’ll be essential in preparing fresh ingredients, assisting with packaging, and supporting food safety standards. Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking large quantities of food consistent with standard catering practices
- Demonstrate strong knife skills in food preparation
- Promoting our values (Excellent Food – Superior Service – Fresh Thinking)
- Daily consistent, accurate and food-safe production of all food items
- Maintaining a sense of urgency to all requests made by the team leader
- Maintaining a professional attitude and mannerism with all teammates at all times
- Providing professional service to our clients
- Providing support to our other food service divisions as required
- Following all provincial and local Health guidelines
- Accurate packaging and labelling of all food items
- Assisting with daily prep as assigned by shift team leader
- Contributing to the daily warehouse operations as needed
- Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment (0 to 4° Celsius)
- Performing other related duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards within the food industry.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new techniques.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Pay: $17.65 per hour

- Mississauga, ON L5S 1A8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
