Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Team Member BOH/Cook to join our culinary team. This role involves preparing and cooking food items, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality, and supporting the overall kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food service environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation protocols at all times
- Support food service operations by ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Handle food with care to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen workflow
- Adhere to all health regulations and safety procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in food industry settings such as restaurants, cafes, or catering is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience with meal preparation and kitchen operations is a plus
- Strong serving skills and understanding of customer service principles are advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $18.25 per hour
