Position Overview:
The ideal candidate understands that the communication of our consumer-facing brands is paramount to our brand success. You are eager to educate and empower our readers to take charge of their health, while also engaging them in interesting content that will open the door for future conversations. You build brand awareness with thoughtful curation of content for our products and email marketing initiatives. If you understand how to build an audience and create meaningful segments, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Organically grow our email subscriber base.
- Create lead generation campaigns, re-engagement series, customer loyalty programs.
- Effectively interpret KPIs and use them to target growth.
- Build effective target audiences and segments to drive engagement and when applicable, revenue.
- Execute robust A/B testing strategies to optimize our email marketing communications and increase engagement.
- Actionable Insights: Analyze results of campaigns to drive future strategy and identify opportunities for education and conversation.
- Segmentation: Utilize analytical and database tools - to help us better understand our audience and what they’re looking for!
- Plan relevant content and be a gatekeeper / guardian to our email marketing campaigns.
- Inspire our readers to learn more about natural health and how our brand can help them reach their health goals.
- Produce creative briefs and communicate direction of email topics and accompanying visuals with all stakeholders, including graphic designers and copywriters.
- Responsible for staying up to date on best practices around email marketing, CASL, and PIPEDA compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in email marketing or comparable role.
- Execute campaigns through Mailchimp and Klaviyo.
- Ability to produce mobile-friendly email campaigns.
- Experience with project management.
- Experience with SMS marketing an asset.
- Must be based in the GTA and able to come into the office periodically.
