Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage thoroughly and develop effective repair plans to restore vehicles to factory standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques to perform body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening
- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces with precision
- Conduct mechanical inspections and perform minor repairs as needed to ensure vehicle safety and functionality
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Document repair processes accurately and communicate progress clearly with supervisors and customers
Skills
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role within a dealership or automotive repair shop
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on expertise in auto body repair techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment necessary for vehicle repairs
- Ability to perform automotive repairs with attention to detail and quality standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret damage assessments effectively
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and explain repairs clearly
Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various environmental conditions
