Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team in Mississauga, ON. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines and production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency. Strong communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and excellent troubleshooting skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines and manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade CNC machinery as required.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, and machine drawings.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience maintaining CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Good mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to lift equipment/components and perform physical maintenance tasks.
- Millwright, Industrial Maintenance, or related technical certification is an asset.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
