Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their emotional, social, and cognitive development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in various domains.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are accessible and well-kept.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Utilize technology to support teaching practices, record student progress, and communicate with families.
Qualifications

- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (registered) and a member in good standing with the College of ECE’s is preferred, or
- Working knowledge of inclusive childcare environments
- Working knowledge of the Ontario Early Learning Framework (OELF)
- Understanding of the Child Care and Early Years Act
- Ability to work as a team player and independently
- Excellent communication skills; written, oral, listening and non-verbal
- Strong organizational skills
- Current First Aid & C.P.R.
