Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team on evenings/weekends. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires a professional who is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer care and maintaining a welcoming environment for all clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including therapeutic, relaxation, and rehabilitative techniques
- Assess client conditions and develop personalized treatment plans to address specific concerns
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records of treatments provided and progress notes
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or referrals if necessary
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education requirements to maintain licensure and improve skills
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a positive experience for each client from check-in to check-out
- Available on evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Valid license as a Registered Massage Therapist in accordance with licensing requirements
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and therapy techniques
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, understand their needs, and explain treatment procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
- Prior experience in massage therapy is preferred but not mandatory; ongoing training will be provided for new graduates or those seeking certification renewal
Pay: $50.00-$80.00 per hour
