Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position involves performing quality inspections, conducting analyses, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations such as ISO 9001 and IATF. The Quality Control Technician will utilize various precision measuring instruments and quality systems to uphold our commitment to excellence in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Inspect packaging components and raw materials for conformance to specifications (coding, seals, labels, containers, caps, damage, defects etc.)
- Execute analytical testing of samples including density, flash point, viscosity, refractive index, Karl Fischer, FTIR, etc.
- Display good laboratory bench techniques and record keeping
- Troubleshooting skills
- Other quality related duties as may be required
- Conduct incoming inspections of materials such as labels, cartons, containers, etc.
- Document and maintain accurate incoming inspection reports
- Report any non-conforming materials to the Manager and follow procedures for quarantine or rejection as appropriate
- Perform in-line inspections on active production runs
- Support operators in identifying issues and corrective action during production
- Verify incoming CoA’s for raw materials
- Testing of incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products
- Conduct first fill inspections and random sampling during production
Qualifications
- Chemical Engineering Technology diploma or B.Sc. in Chemistry
- Proven experience in a quality control or laboratory environment within a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data accurately for decision-making purposes.
- Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
