Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist (Resident or Registered) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing personalized rehabilitation programs to improve patient mobility and quality of life. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to promote recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including chiropractors, massage therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, management strategies, and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy techniques and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospital settings with a focus on acute care is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is a plus.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient groups.
- Ability to assess complex medical conditions and develop appropriate treatment strategies.
- Compassionate approach combined with strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently.
