Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to clients, managing cases efficiently, and ensuring that individuals receive the appropriate services. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping others.
Job Description
- Provide support to individuals who are unhoused or experiencing housing insecurity
- Assess and support individuals with their identified needs
- Navigate community resources and advocate for individuals
- Understanding of harm reduction concept, mental illness, and concurrent disorders
- Ability to respond crisis situations
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Social work or Social Services
- Drivers license and own vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in community engagement and advocacy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong de-escalation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Experience working with a vulnerable population
