Savoury City Catering is looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service & Event Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, helping clients plan memorable events, and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
As the first point of contact for many of our clients, you'll handle inbound inquiries for corporate catering, weddings, private events, and special occasions while delivering exceptional customer service from the initial call through the booking process.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound phone calls, emails, and online inquiries.
- Assist clients with catering recommendations and event planning.
- Prepare quotes and process event bookings.
- Build strong relationships with new and returning clients.
- Collaborate with the operations and culinary teams to ensure successful event execution.
- Maintain accurate client and event information in our booking system.
- Provide outstanding customer service with a positive, solutions-focused approach.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, hospitality, catering, or event sales experience is an asset.
- Serving It Right certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, can-do attitude with a collaborative team mindset.
- Proficient with computers and able to learn new software quickly.
