Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated and dependable Auto Technician that will show up , to join our reputable auto repair team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair, ensuring vehicles are serviced efficiently and to the highest standards.Added benefit we are 4 day work, 3 day off shop. So every Friday we are closed. That’s at least 52 Fridays off . This role offers an excellent opportunity in professional environment committed to quality service and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and mechanical expertise
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively
- Conduct inspections to identify necessary repairs or replacements
- Replace or repair faulty parts, including tires, brakes, exhaust and other components
- Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle serviced
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and dealership policies
- Assist with vehicle inspections, tire rotations, oil changes, and other preventive maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or mechanic experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as required for certain repairs or parts handling
- Prior experience in automotive repair or related field is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred
