Raincoast Erosion Control Ltd. is seeking an experienced Landscaping Crew Lead to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position based out of Coombs, BC.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervising and working alongside a small landscaping crew
- Planning and scheduling daily work to meet production targets
- Training crew members and monitoring quality of work
- Conducting daily safety meetings and hazard assessments
- Completing daily field reports and job documentation
- Managing equipment, materials and vehicle upkeep
- Acting as the on-site point of contact for clients
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience
- Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience
- Valid BC Class 5 driver's licence and a clean driver's abstract
- Comfortable operating trucks, trailers and small equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
ASSETS
- Occupational First Aid Level 1
- Class 3 licence with air endorsement
- Landscape Horticulturist certification or Red Seal
- Equipment tickets (skid steer, mini excavator, compaction)
- Experience with digital field reporting or job-costing software
COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE
- $28.00 - $32.00 per hour, paid biweekly
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Company-supplied PPE and tools
