Position Overview
We’re hiring reliable, respectful, and fast-working Packers to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing homes for move day, packing fragile and personal items with care, sorting and labeling inventory, and helping ensure a smooth, damage-free relocation for our clients. Many jobs involve working directly with seniors and without direct supervision, so professionalism, empathy, and confidence are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack entire homes with care and efficiency, prioritizing safety and organization
- Sort items into categories (move, donate, discard), including expired food and perishables
- Wrap fragile and sentimental items (glassware, collectibles, heirlooms)
- Label boxes clearly and accurately for moving day coordination
- Track basic inventory of household items and boxes packed
- Photograph any pre-existing damage to furniture or walls as part of job documentation
- Perform light lifting and careful packing of furniture, clothing, kitchenware, and décor
- Clean spaces after move-out to realtor-ready standards (light sweeping, surface wipe-downs, etc.)
- Communicate compassionately and respectfully with senior clients and their families
- Work independently when pre-packing homes in advance of move day
- Collaborate with movers and team leads to ensure nothing is left behind or mishandled

- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Naturally empathetic and patient when interacting with seniors
- Physically fit and able to lift light to moderate household items
- Fast but careful - you can work quickly without cutting corners
- Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to doing things right
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and on a team
- Able to work full-time with availability on some weekends and for overtime as needed
Requirements
- Clean criminal record check
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license is a strong asset
- Available for some weekends and overtime as needed

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
